My friend and classmate, N Somaiah all of a sudden collapsed and fainted about 45 days back and the doctors diagnosed it as a serious brain infection where pus had formed in his brain. He was admitted to the Apollo hospital at Seshadripuram, Bangalore and had to undergo two surgeries for which his friends and classmates helped. Post surgery he needs to be on medication where he is given injections 3 times a day for almost 50 days and has to undergo regular CT scans. The medicines are costly and the daily medicine and test expenses come to about Rs. 15,000 per day. He has exhausted his personal funds and is in urgent need of funds to cover his medicine costs and tests. If all of us could contribute some amount, how much ever is comfortable with each of us, the collective amount will be of great help to my friend, Somaiah.
