My name is Shipra Roy, we are from Guwahati and I am here to raise funds for my only child Smita Roy who is 20 years old and a thalassemia patient by birth. She is being suffering from gall bladder stone for past 2 years, due to lack of fund and her critical situation we have been delaying this surgery. As for a thalassemic a simple surgery could be life threatening.
But recently the pain has become unbearable and we had to admit her in hospital. Currently she is undergoing treatment in Marwari Hospitals, Guwahati.
She is a very lively girl inspite of her throughout hardship, she continued to go forward with her studies and currently is in 2nd year of college.
Doctor has suggested for an immediate cholecystectomy and splenectomy surgery to save her life. This surgery and further treatment will cost around 4lacs rupees.
I am a house wife and my husband is a daily wager. Due to this ongoing lockdown it was hard on us to make ends meet and now with our only child's deteriorating health condition we have spent around 5k till now and completely used up our savings on her. It has become really hard on us mentally, financially and emotionally to move forward with such testing times.
Please help me save my daughter's life, we need Rs 400,000 for her surgery and further treatment. Any contribution will be of immense help.
