One such story was of a young boy, who after failing his schooling, at a tender age, was sent to work in a farm in a village simply because his parents thought, “What will he ever be able to achieve?”.
We, at Beyond Meds Foundation, wish to change this very view. We wish for people to recognise and treat such disabilities, for people to recognise it as “this ability” not “disability”. Owing to our purpose, we are launching our third campaign-- wherein we will be making a school for special children of the underprivileged sectors of society.
This school will be set up in the Kanawani village of Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. Our initial expenses of setting up our mission is approximately 2,00,000 rupees, (including costs of: Tin Shed and all products required to assemble it, rent, diagnosis, special educator, rent security, lights, electricity board, electricity, water, food, blackboard, mattress, ADHD toys, uniform, table fan, first aid) and apart from this, the monthly expenses of running this campaign will be approximately 60,000 INR which includes the monthly fees for special educator, clinical psychologist, rent, mid day meals, electricity etc.
To bring about this change, and for the success of this mission, we require your incessant support. After all, proper education is a human right, and every child deserves it.
Help us impact lives, and bring about a safer space for everyone suffering from these disorders.
Help us prove to the world that these children are anything but liabilities, and that they are capable, for they hold untapped and hidden potential.
Help them build an identity for themselves; a “Pehchaan” for themselves.
We can’t do this without you. So, let’s take a small step, and change the world together.
