I’m Pramila Sivakumar from Chennai, India.
Last February 2019, my husband complained of acute pain in his mouth and later diagnosed as a carcinogenic tumor in the tongue. Since then, he has had multiple surgeries, radiation sessions, and medications, none of which has relieved him from cancer entirely. Now, the doctors are recommending another surgery to remove the recurred cancer tissues immediately.
This prognosis has hurled our lives far from normalcy as he was the sole breadwinner. We have exhausted all our resources for his treatments. He has one more shot at life. He has the will to beat this, but no financial support. We have tried all means, even the Government schemes (which requires revenue documentation - the Revenue Dept. is not fully functional due to COVID-19 and we are battling against time).
His surgery will cost us five (5) lakh rupees and is scheduled for 17th July 2020.
He has no intention to back down from this fight and neither do I. Our differently-abled son and I have run out of schemes to help him, we have come to you all as last resort. Whether he goes into the Operation Theatre lie in the mercy of you.
