    from Baidyabati, West Bengal

I am Sintu Bagui. I was born and raised in Seoraphuli situated in Hoogli District. I identify as transgender, and I am the child of a sex worker and bahujan Community.  Since childhood, I have felt marginalized in various ways including stigma and discrimination at all layers of my existence. Through the poverty stricken situation and overwhelming manifestation of life challenges, today I am the Sintu Bagui who have joined the sex-worker collective  as a peer educator in 2009 and in 2010 became the Secretary of Anandam. I  also served as Director of the Targeted Intervention Project which is a HIV intervention program for men who have sex with men and transgender communities in West Bengal. I recently became the first tran judge in a Lok Adalat in Seoraphuli, my hometown—the second trans woman ever awarded the position in all of West Bengal. I took a leading role in helping to organize and conceptualize the making of Until and Unless and was able to mobilize community members and stakeholders in participating in the film.

The situation prevails and as the pandemic situation has created more jobless entities, I am left with no choice but to raise fund to sustain myself and build a house to stay, MY HOME if I can call it. My house is absolutely broken down and I need to reconstruct it immediately so that I can stay in there.
So here I am asking those of you who are a little privileged than me to support my cause and HELP! me...
