We need your help for our house help. She is from West Bengal and works as house help in 3 houses. Due to COVID, she lost work in 2 other houses where she used to work. She lives alone in Delhi with her son and daugter. Since she has been paying rent for the last 10-12 years, she thought that purchasing a house could save them from the monthly rent . So, she went ahead and purchased a house with all the money she had and also borrowed a few Lacks from her relatives. The total cost of the house was 6 L INR and she has till now given 4 L INR mortgaging all the assets that she has accumulated over the  years. The deal was that she would pay the remaining after a year.
But since the deal is not very formalized, the owner is constantly pestering her to hand over another 83,000 INR in the next 10 days or they would throw her out of the propertly which means she would lose the house, and the 4 L INR.  The goons have already been terrorizing her daughter and her for a month now and she doesn’t know anyone in power who can help her. The only way is to give them the remaining money.
