My parents have provided me with the education that has both empowered and made me independent to take my own decisions. Though my parents are ready to finance my education in the form of a loan, I don’t want to provide them with any sort of strain. I want to be self-sufficient and take responsibility for my education costs.
I am the first girl from my family to go for higher education. My father is a government employee. A large chunk of his salary is spent on the therapy of my younger brother Ayush. He was diagnosed with autism during his childhood, therefore it’s significant for me to take proper care of him in all aspects. My brother has always inspired me to work for the betterment of others, especially for children with special needs. During my undergrad, I worked on a couple of projects such as mental stress detection in children using machine learning algorithms, developed a learning tool for kids using augmented reality besides few others. All these projects mainly were an infusion of the theory of mind concept via the application of machine learning. This substantiated my decision to study deeply about machine learning in psychological research.
I promise to sponsor at least one child every year to finance their studies abroad and spread awareness exorbitantly among the human fraternity especially the women regarding the power of education and forming one’s own identity. If I can be the first woman in all generations of my family to pursue higher studies then why can’t someone else be?
The tuition fee at Indiana is $52000 (INR 38,13,680) for two years and doesn’t include other miscellaneous and living expenses which roughly amounts to $20000 (INR 14,66,800) considering I will share a room with others off-campus. Monetary compensation for the tuition will be the gateway to my education. The university asked me to upload my funding resources at the earliest to prepare my immigration documents. I sincerely request you to help me fund my education and prove to the world that everyone has the right to dream and fulfill them if he/she has the determination to do so. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to reach out to me.
