    Shubham Simlote

    from Satna, Madhya Pradesh

Our dearest friend Shubham Simlote lost his battle of life to Covid on 17th May 2021, leaving behind his 65+ year old parents, 33 year old wife Apoorva and 10 month old daughter Miara
The pandemic has taken so many lives, young and old, with no discrimination, and with no warning. Shubham was tested positive for Covid-19 on Apr 27th, and been treated in a hospital in his hometown Satna (Madhya Pradesh, India) since May 5th, 2021
38 year old Shubham was working for a leading software firm in Helsinki, Finland and visited India amidst Covid in June 2020 to support ageing parents and get necessary family support for his daughter Miara's birth.
A confident, happy and beloved soul who always had a strong faith in himself that anything can be achieved with firm compassion and conviction. He showered selfless love for every individual and was ready to hear out other’s problems and gave immense support & strongly believed that Togetherness is Everything! No words can express about the love he had for his family and friends alike.
His family lost their backbone and a prominent earning member. We lost a dear friend. Covid has made it almost impossible to provide comfort and support in the event of such a huge loss. The least we can do is ensure their immediate financial needs are met and also secure a future for their 10 month old daughter. Education is the best gift anyone can give. And we hope to provide that to his daughter, in the absence of her father, through this campaign.

We urge all of you, to contribute as much as you can, to ensure little Miara has continued access to education, and Shubham's wife and his parents can overcome the financial burdens that have been created with his untimely and unfortunate demise.

Shubham Simlote, a person who always made you laugh, was always there to lend you a helping hand at the time of need, is no longer with us. Now it's our time to lend a helping hand to his family. We sincerely thank you for your kindness and generosity. And please stay healthy and safe in this difficult Covid times, keep in touch with your parents and loved ones!
