Shivraj took help from the transgender community members in Delhi to help him find a job and provide him with a place to stay. Shivraj is currently working as a daily wage labourer and has worked as a house care taker and in multiple other jobs to keep himself afloat. He had to keep changing workplaces due to discrimination and harassment over his disability, his gender and his body dysphoria. He even enrolled himself in a residential skill-building training in Feb 2020 hoping to get a stable job eventually. But unfortunately, COVID19 struck India and training and job placement came to a halt. In July 2020, Shivraj was selected by one of the e-commerce company for a role as a warehouse associate, however, owing to his disability in one of his hand he was not able to continue his work in this role. Unfortunately, there was no other role available for him. The clock has been ticking since then as his mental health is getting affected facing rejections in all walks of life.
The estimate of the surgery in an affordable hospital is as below. Please help Shivraj by contributing to his new life.
