My name is Jayaraj and I am here to fund
raise for a girl whom I personally know named Shivapriya. Shivapriya lost her mother Ms.Ratnamma in a tragic accident on 22nd June'19 at Varthur, Bangalore. Ratnamma along with her brother was on her way to work on a bike when a speeding tanker lorry rammed unto them, and both of them died on the spot. Ratnamma was working as housekeeping staff. Ratnamma is survived by her 16-year-old daughter. Shivapriya is very unfortunate that her father separated from her when she was just year old baby understanding she is a girl. Ratnamma who worked as housekeeping and other similar jobs to take care of Shivapriya and the family. At present Shivapriya became almost orphan and no responsible person to take care of her and the education. Shivapriya is the brightest student in her class and got 88% in SSLC examination in 2019. She just took the admission in PUC.
She is currently staying in a 1 room poorly lit, cement sheet house with no amenities, along with her uncle's widow and their 2 small children. The family is under tremendous financial pressure in order to meet daily needs and also to continue her education.
