I noted some tenderness in the right lower side of the abdomen and was diagnosed with inflammation of the appendix and needed appendectomy (surgical removal of the appendix).  The surgery started laparoscopically but was later converted to open. I exhausted my insurance coverage for this surgery. The specimen (removed appendix) came back positive for adenocarcinoma although the base was clear. Now I am asked to undergo another surgery for partial removal of the colon. With surgical removal, I have almost 100% chance of cure. Please help me fight this cancer.
