Shila Sarkar is a 37 year old who works as a maid at two houses. She is losing her vision. She comes from a bpl class and has recently lost her eldest son, her main earning source of the family. She lost her right eye sight, it cannot be saved. But the other eye is also getting affected and is partially damaged. If the right eye is not being grafted now her vision will be lost completely. She does not at all have the financial support to provide for her operation. In Rotary Narayana Nethralaya, Salt lake, Sector 5, a coronea is available now, and to do the grafting, the money is needed urgently.
