Hello,

My name is Shehla Afreedi. I am a resident of Moradabad and am 20 years old. I have completed my 12th standard in 2020. I am here to ask for your help to pursue my higher studies in the health department at Vivekananda Nursing College, Moradabad.

For the past few years, my family is struggling to make ends meet which only got worse during covid as my father lost his job since he was a daily wage earner and has been battling with health issues since then. My family had been saving money for quite some time for my higher studies but in April my father was diagnosed with duodenal perforation peritonitis.

All the money saved was spent on his medical treatment. Since then my father is on bed rest. My elder sister, who is now the sole earner for the family, works at a boutique and is barely making enough to make ends meet. I am here to try and raise funds for the same.

I took a gap last year since we did not have enough funds but saved a bit for this year but since all our money is spent on the hospital bills for my father. I request you all to contribute to my 1st-year college fees which are 1,00,000 so that I can take admission this year and don’t have to take another gap year.

I request you all with folded hands to help and support me complete my education and succeed in my career.
