The surgery is quite expensive and her savings are meagre as a non-professional artist. At this point, her ability to afford the cost of a liver transplant is beyond her wildest imagination.
Her daughter who has same blood group is not eligible to donate as she is too young for that (only 15 years old) and the doctors cannot allow that.
The determination and the struggle by Sarmistha and her family to keep her alive is the epitome of the fight for survival for every human being. We salute them for their never say die attitude. But there comes a point when even the bravest of the soldiers gives up because everything looks so dark to him. The family is at the point of giving up. Let's not let that happen and keep Sarmistha alive. We are having a community drive to raise the necessary funds needed for Sarmishtha's surgery to bring her back to life. Please join hands and donate and encourage everyone around you to join hands as well in this noble cause.
