This is a request for support for Shakira, age 31, who has suffered paralysis as a result of a stroke. This is her third stroke. After the first stroke she was completely paralysed. But treatment from the Paralysis Vydyam located in Virupakshipuram, Andhra Pradesh, helped her to partly recover. Presently, she is unable to move her right side of the body. Regular and continuous treatment is crucial.
Shakira  has two children, Kashif age 10 and Ashifa, age 8. Right now, they help their father care for their mother,by feeding and cleaning up after her. The children do not go to school The husband, Aslam, is an auto driver, who is currently, out of work.
