We are a group of friends of Shaji Kassim, who is admitted in Vellore CMC medical college and is on Ventilator support for the last five days. We are making this appeal to all well wishers and helping hands to extend your support and help to Sihan, Rayhana and Benazir to get their beloved father / Husband fine and healthy.

Summary:

Shaji started this journey of ill health in July 2018 with a sinus related surgery, fungal infection to sinus , Vasculitis and klebsiella pneumoniae bacterial infection which is a super bug bacterium.

He has undergone treatment in multiple hospitals [ treatment history uploaded here] and in CMC  medical college Vellore at present.
-Admitted to ICU from 24 January 2019 and on Ventilator.
-Fungal Lung infection has caused bleeding in lungs and low oxygen consumption.
He is in amedically induced sedation currently.

Super specialty treatment lasting 7 months has taken its toll on the financial condition of this family and well wishers. Money has ran out and the family is already in debt. Shaji is away from work for the last 7 months with no insurance. Treatment cost is climbing above 35 lac and now is the time much more help is required. As long as Shaji is on Ventilator , daily treatment cost is around 1 lac per day. post discharge cost is unknown at this point. So we are trying to do everything possible to help him get the best treatment on time.

We pray for help with all kind-hearted people to help Shaji recover and be back home. 
We want to see the relief and smiles on the faces of Shaji and his family.
