Dear kind people,
My name is Vineeta Pandey wife of Shailendra Kumar. My husband has been working in an IT company from past 20 years. On 5th September, 2019 he suffered Cardiac Arrest in the office premises. Due to traffic he reached the hospital half an hour late because of which doctor gave him 25 electric jolt and almost declared him brain dead. With gods grace doctors found pulse and further, did all the required operations. He was in the ICU of the hospital since then and he is being treated for his cardiac resuscitation. Further, it is stated that he is in a state of Comatose as 70% of the brain cells are damaged because the blood flow & the oxygen got blocked and could not reached the brain. It will take sometime for him to come out of Coma. The state which he is presently in is because of Global Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy. Currently he is in Sakra World Hospital, Bangalore.

Shailendra Kumar is the only bread earner of the  family as, I am a housewife, we belong to a very humble family from remote area of Bihar and I don’t have much financial support from either my parents or from my in-laws. Though they are standing very tall and are with me during this crisis in my life but their own financial conditions doesn’t favour them to support me financially. It is becoming almost impossible for me to sustain the expenditure for treatment and to meet the expenses for my children education. We also have home loans worth Rs.1 crore yet to pay and for that we are seeking some time from the bank so that we can sell our ancestral property. I have two kids, Namrata Kumar, studying M.B.B.S from JSS Medical College, Mysore (2nd year) and Aditya Kumar, studying in Purdue University, west Lafayette, Indianapolis (1st year). While I will leave no stone unturned for the treatment of my husband, even if I have to sell my ancestral house as I also wants no disruptions to my kids’ education.

As of today, the medical bill has crossed 25 lakhs and also has exhausted our medical insurance. Further, it has been stated that for his neurological treatment, we have to harvest around Rs.30 lakhs more. The IT company in which he was working has blocked the salary and it has been really difficult to manage all the things at a time.

I request you to kindly help me with Financial Assistance to meet the needs of my husband’s treatment.
Thankful and grateful.
A Ninja home maker.
