I am Shabana Dagar. Some of you know me as a member of the Dagar Gharana from Jaipur, keeping alive its ancient Dhrupad traditions.
COVID-19 is a situation, unlike anything we’ve faced before. In the midst of this Health, Humanitarian and Economic crisis, many musicians now have no access to food, medical supplies nor the means to maintain social distancing.
To help them we have set up a campaign called “Life Matters”. Every paisa raised from Life Matters will be used to donate food, medical supplies and essentials to the poor and most vulnerable. Our daily wagers, performers, artists, and musicians, who have worked for us and kept us entertained for years, need us. We must respond.
Please come forward and support Life Matters. Every little bit counts so any contribution is welcome.
