Senthilkumar, is an IT professional working in a small IT services company based in Chennai, India. He is the only earning member and is the father of 2 sons, eldest is graduating & younger is just into college.  He tested positive for COVID in Dec'20 last week, recovered from that but due to the aftermath of COVID, his lung has been damaged badly. He has no co-morbidity and is a teetotaler. He has been on ECMO support until now and the family has exhausted all their savings. The doctors at MGM healthcare, Chennai, have suggested to get the lung transplanted. The cost for the transplant, waiting for donor while in ICU care and post transplant care is estimated at about INR 60,00,000/-. They have run out of insurance cover and resources.
