Hi,
     My name is Rajagopalan Madhavan. My cousin Vinay and I are raising this funds for Saravana Kumar's family. To provide some background, Saravana Kumar's father, Selvam was working as our gardener for almost 20 years.

About Saravana:
  Saravana Kumar was the one of the most aspiring youngsters I have ever met. He received a University medal for his studies at MEPCO college in Sivakasi. He was too bright that his college volunteered to offer scholarship.

Despite the financial circumstances, his eagerness and curiosity to learn never ceased and he also he volunteered to help people in need.

Unfortunate event:  
  Saravana Kumar was expected to be the sole bread winner of his family. He was due to be the first graduate when he lost his life to an unfortunate turn of events when an electric wire of 11,000 V fell on his head while returning home on a bike on October 7th.

He is survived by his parents and his younger brother. His brother has just started his undergraduate studies and his father is currently unemployed

Why this fundraiser
At this time of extreme emotional burden and financial crisis, we are raising this fundraiser to help the family cover the memorial expenses, his brother's education expenses and his family's day to day expenses.
