I have been selected from India to attend the "World Conference on Drowning Prevention 2019 in Durban, South Africa. A prestigious and a very useful conference and training program for lifeguards world over, it's been a dream for me to attend it for years. While a lot of registration expenses have been sponsored by the organisers i'm short of a 1,10,000 for flight tickets and stay and food expenses.
I will be leaving from Chennai on the 5th to Johannesburg, then to Durban. It's a 3 days conference with certification and an ILS (international Live Saving) Registration.
Its been my greatest dream to be among those people and your contributions will help me realize that dream.
I hail from Kovalam, Chennai, a father of 3. I have been a lifeguard all my life, been in love with the ocean since I was a kid.
I was blessed with the oppurtunity to save over 500 lives over 15 years in the Kovalam beach.
I was the team leader for the Bay of Life Chennai Flood Relief along with Gautam Ramdas and Showkath Jamal of Chennai. Where we saved over 1500 lives over 3 days.
I was part of the Kerala flood relief for over 8 days.
