Dear Friends,
I am Varadharajan J (varadha.ee@gmail.com) starting this fundraising campaign for one of my close relative Mr.Srinivasan .Ra (Male / 49 Year of age), who is fighting against Covid 19 & Mucormycosis (Rare Black Fungal infection). On 6th May'21 he was tested Covid Positive and admitted in Govt Hospital at Villupuram with mild symptoms & later he developed breathlessness & moved to E.S Private hospital for Intensive care treatment, where he was recovering well and tested Covid Negative on 13th May'21. But unfortunately he was diagnosed with Mucormycosis (very rare deadly Black Fungal Infection), which is now rising in india especially Covid infected people under prolonged IC treatment). As the Private hospital where he was admitted does not have facility to treat Mucormycosis, we have admitted him in JIPMER Multispecialty Hospital @ pondicherry. Now both of his eyes are infected with Black Fungus and doctors warned that it would further penetrate into Brain which will lead to risk his life or lead to loss of eye sight. The medicines and the injections to control this fungal infections are very costlier (appx 60,000 INR / day for 5-8 days) for which their family members cannot afford to arrange such a huge money as they have already spent all the money to their utmost ability to treat him these days. As he is the only Bread winner of the family (His Family comprises of Wife (home maker), Daughter studying 2nd year Engineering, Son studying Class 11), their family members are in need of the financial support from you all. Please consider this as my personal request and help Mr.Srinivasan fight againt Mucormycossin and do share with your friend and family which will help them further.
Attached his medical records for your reference.
Thanks
