About the school:
ZP-High School, Bijjampalli is the lifeline for many remote villages in Udayagiri Mandal, SPSR Nellore Dt. of Andhra Pradesh. There are around 141 children studying in the school for the year 2019-20. School does not have teachers for "Science" and "Mathematics". Most of the students are from very poor background where their parents cannot afford private education.
About 30 students are in 10th grade, making sure all of them pass their exams is top most priority for the current academic year.
School desperately in need of teachers to teach Science and Mathematics and other basic things like benches, ceiling-fans, printer, and toilets.

Class rooms are in need of minimum renovation like black-boards, lights, table and chairs for teachers. Cannot imagine a classroom without a chair and table for at least teacher.
Toilets are present only for girls and needs to be constructed for both girls and boys in future if enough funds are raised.
Teachers do not have an option to print documents or work-sheets for students as the nearby town (Udayagiri) is 10 KM away. Also many teachers already working there are always wanted to move to better place by leaving the position vacant.
Each class room is in need of re-painting, toilets for all (boys and girls). Ceiling of some of the class rooms are in very sad condition and needs repairs.
Our ultimate goal:
We would like to see most of the infrastructure problems are solved for students, teachers along with renovating class rooms and the campus.

Ensure students get their minimum required education without travelling to other town/city.
Knowing about computers, smart-class rooms and other latest technology is very very distant reach for these students with the current situation.
Immediate goal:
With the help we receive, we would like to arrange benches, chairs, ceiling-fans and printer along with finding volunteers to teach Science and Mathematics.

Rough estimation is about 40 wooden school benches, 5 chairs and tables for teachers, 8 ceiling fans, and 1 printer is required and estimated to cost as below.
40 wooden school benches (per piece Rs. 3,000) - Rs. 1,20,000
5 Chairs and Tables (per pair Rs. 2,500) - Rs. 12,500
8 ceiling fans (Per piece Rs. 1,500) - Rs. 12,000
1 printer (epson l130 single function printer) - Rs. 7,000
Stationary and other misc items: - Rs. 10,000
Further goals:
As we get more funds, we need to have drinking water at school, school board at the entrance, renovate class rooms, construction of toilets for all and facilitate students in extra curricular activities like sports, arts etc...
