Budigere cross rising is a registered NGO/ Society formed by a group of citizens who care for social work and for returning back to society.

We recently came across a school in a village, with around 500 kids from financially backward families. Our inspection of the school revealed that the school is badly in need of proper infrastructure ranging from library, desks and chairs for kids, water proofing of ceilings, proper flooring  etc. These kids do deserve better quality education and infrastructure.

As Budigere Cross Rising , we seek your help in raising funds to support this school in helping them set up a good library along with desks and chairs for these underprivileged kids, so as to improve the quality of their primary education.

After discussion with the school authorities, we have narrowed down to the below items on priority:
1. A library with reading space
2. Desks and chairs for classrooms
3. Teachers sitting room
4. Water purifier
5. Computer room for computer literacy training

Currently several parts of the school buildings  require proper wall plastering and water proofing of ceiling. The teachers room is in a really bad condition .

The estimate given by a vendor for setting up and fixing the above items at the school is close to 10lakhs .
Just because these kids are from economically poor backgrounds should not mean they receive less quality education and infrastructure. Let’s help them by improving the quality of the experience they have at school and also better education.

So we are looking to raise money through crowd sourcing.
Request support from all.
We are also planning to have our volunteers teach these kids during weekends so that the kids gets better learning opportunities.

Our aim in the long term is to convert this into a model school where kids from economically backward communities get quality education at low or zero cost.
