Sayani is the eldest of the three Siblings of Mr. Hiren Roy and Mrs. Madhumita Roy.
Sayani's mom Madhumita has been battling a severe ailment since the last 5 years - Chronic Kidney Disease. The family has been fighting all odds and exhausted all their lives' saving, and whatever money they had, to keep Madhumita alive. But a few days back, all hell broke loose when her kidney condition deteriorated and her condition became highly critical and life threatening when she had a major heart attack, which led to a Brain Hemorrhage. She was rushed to RSV hospital Kolkata. She is on life support right now, and with her body's immune system being compromised, she has caught Pneumonia too. The hospital cost is excruciatingly huge and that leaves the family with no choice but to seek government hospitals to shift her too, but getting a bed in government hospital is tough in Kolkata, and meanwhile the daily cost at RSV is breaking through the roof.
