Issue:
Open Bore wells deaths - Despite clear guidelines by the Supreme court, successive governments have failed to make a full proof system to track and close open bore wells, thus resulting in tragic deaths of our children in different parts of India. There have been incidents where govt officials and policy makers were trapped in office lifts for a few minutes and then they raised a great hue and cry. Now imagine a 3 years to 6 years old child trapped 30 to 100 ft below ground in a narrow hole, and then meeting death slowly after a period of 24 to 48 hours.
Actions taken by Sarvebhyo Foundation-
Sarvebhyo first launched an app localized in Hindi in February 2020 appealing people and government to take auto-location pictures through the app, so that we can help close the open borewells. Recently sarvebhyo announced a prize too of 200 Rs to those who report open borewells. Through these initiatives, Sarvebhyo has managed to get many open borewells closed in Mahoba.

Funds needed for - 1) Our target is to track and close 150 more open borewells by May 23rd 2021
2) We need funds to make enhancements to app
3) We need funds to make visits to affected areas.
4) Funds to close 150 borewells at 500 Rs/borewell totaling 75000 Rs.
