Support 7-member "Act of God" Victim Family in Cuddalore, TN

Meet Ambiga (aged 35) and her family (husband, 5 school-going children) who are residents from Vadakku Melur village (near Neyveli, Cuddalore District), Vadalur Muncipality. Ambiga works as a domestic maid in my house, her husband is a daily wage construction worker in the Neyveli neighbourhood and her children all study in school within the vicinity. Her elder son is Satyaseelan who is pursuing his undergraduation.
Ambiga and her family have lost her house in a major ACT OF GOD (lightning caused fire) accident. The incident happened on the 25th June 2019 approximately at 9.30pm. The disaster has badly hurt Ambiga & her two daughters. Besides this, the entire low-profile house which they built just half a year ago has been ashed away because of the fire. All home appliances, study books of children, dresses & furniture have been burnt. The estimated losses is approximately ₹1,50,000.
Thanks to the fire department of Tamilnadu, 108 Emergeny Service & Tamil Nadu Police Department for prompt action on the day of incident and saving lives of this family. However, the family is still under the mental trauma caused by the incident as they don’t have a shelter for themselves. Given their financial inability & low-paid jobs, it is almost impractical for this family to secure the lost items in the short to mid term.Though the family is now cheered up by friends & relatives around them, they really ample support financially to recover from the crisis. While there are some hopes that the TN government would consider offering her some monetary value from the disaster funds, the entire family needs help for their daily living.
I plead all kind-hearted people in Neyveli, Vadalur surrounding as well from any where in the world to join me and come forward to offer any kind of support to a family within our neighbourhood (be it monetary or materialistic support).

Dear Supporters,

Thank you all for the support and love.

Currently, Ambiga & her two daughters who have been hurt by the lightning incident have been slowly recovering from their pain. Each of them have taken treatment with both government & low-profile private medicine practitioners. One child had her limb twisted and the other was suffering from lack of hearing as her ear drum was affected. Ambiga who had suffered from blood clots  & dizziness due to the lightning shocks has recovered and had returned to work. The children have been also to get back to school after getting some course of medical treatment.

Thanks
