    Satyanarayana Bhatt Family

    from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh

I am Shreya Bhatt from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. I am a 25-year-old IT professional earning very minimal salary. We were a family of four, my mother Sudha Bhatt is a homemaker and my father Satyanarayan Bhatt, 59 years old, was a retired transport supervisor. My Brother Prateek Bhatt is into sales. We were very happy even in less until father diagnosed with COVID 19 in April 2021 and he passed away on 01st May-2021. The treatment drained all my savings and drowned us in debt. I am here to raise funds to support our family repay the debts.

On April 23, 2021, my father diagnosed with COVID. We took all kind of safety measures and tried for hospital beds, nowhere we could get any medical support as Delhi was going through a tough time due to a shortage of oxygen and healthcare facility & infrastructure. We decided to treat him at home but his oxygen level went down (71) on 25th April. He was in need of oxygen immediately. We struggled a lot to find out a cylinder from a known NGO and some neighbours. We fought every day to save his life and failed as he needed immediate medical help which we were unable to provide. We even bought oxygen cylinders from local vendors for 20k-50k but all went in vain. On 1st May we lost my darling and lively dad who wanted to live.

He left behind our family with all sorrow to bear and all baggage of debts which we have no idea how to repay in the midst of lockdown and pandemic where job and life are uncertain every second. My father was known for being soft-spoken and kind-hearted. He helped many families stand and survive. But no one came forward from even our own family to support even a rupee. Thanks to our relatives, neighbours and some friends from whom we borrowed their savings. He was known for his kindness. Our family is devasted by this unfortunate and untimely demise and we need your support to repay the debts. Any small or big contribution will be appreciated with the ability to make an immediate impact, so please contribute and share it with your friends and family.
