My 63-year-old unmarried aunt-in-law who is a resident of Bangalore is bed-ridden for life. Life came to a standstill early this week leaving her fighting for life. On Friday 24th June 2022, she suffered a Paralytic stroke which has impacted and resulted in clots in her brain, leaving her left side immobile. Simultaneously, a recent unattended fall in June resulted in a Right Hip fracture. This leaves her completely bedridden. A recent diagnosis by the doctors requires a life-threatening operation pushing her medical costs even higher.

Being unmarried, she dedicated her life to looking after her parents who are no more. The recent Pandemic harmed her financial situation leaving her with little or nothing. Her family comprising of three elder sisters above the age of 70 years have done everything possible within their limited capacities. However, they are in a difficult situation to meet the expenses towards the cost of her treatment and medical bills.
