Chhotu Mirdha, aged about 27 years, belonging from Hansdiha, Dumka, Jharkhand, is suffering from mental illness for the last 4 years. In his family, his old mother aged about 68 years, is doing clay paint work to run the family expenses and is earning only INR 40 to INR 50 per day.
His only brother is a Rickshaw puller, earning only INR 100 per day. Due to COVID-19 and Lockdown, the Family is suffering from too much trouble and financial crisis. The brother can't go out with his rickshaw as due to lockdown there are no people going out for work. His mother's income has also stopped as no body can spare money now to buy painted clay items. They not only need money for food, but they also need it to continue with Chhotu Mirdha's treatment and medications, as prescribed by the hospital, Ranchi Institute of Neuro-Psychiatry & Allied Sciences.
