Request for Assistance for Liver Transplantation
Cheruvalli Shankaranarayanan Namboodiri ( 49 years old ) is a temple priest in Malappuram District, Kerala.
He is under treatment for a faulty liver in Amrita Institute of Medical Science and Research Centre from 12 August 2019 for immediate liver transplantation surgery.
His wife Lalitha Antharjanam is ready to donate the transplant and in preliminary tests it's found suitable.
The surgery itself will amount to Rs 20 lakhs. Related hospital & medicine costs will be another 5 lakhs. The poor family is in untold dilemma about arranging this massive amount.
Sankaranarayanan Namboodiri's family consists of his wife and 3 school-going children - two daughters and a son.
He has been running the family and funding children’s education by serving as a priest at various temples in Tirur for the past 20 years.
Given this situation, he humbly requests financial and other assistance for the treatment and to help bring the lives of his family back on track.
The transplantation needs to be done at the earliest as his liver is very weak. Tentatively it's decided on 2019 Sept 02, but money is yet to be arranged.
I would like to mention that he never had any bad habits like liquor usage, smoking etc.
