I have been associated and has an opportunity to closely witness the service done by Sanjeevini Hospital that was built in rural area of Andhra Pradesh (Kuchipudi, Krishna district) with the help of donations. This not-for-profit hospital sponsored by Sillicon India organization serve underprivileged people from the surrounding villages and communities, is now struggling to meet the demands of rising COVID patient intakes with the limited resources they have and not to mention the unfortunate black market price hikes. They are currently charging Rs.25,000 per day for COVID treatment and would like to stick to it. The hospital has 8 beds currently and would like to increase them to a minimum of 20. I have direct contacts to the people working there and so I reached out to them to see what's the need of the hour. The management said they are in dire need of 10 oxygen cylinders (about $500 each) and 10 patient monitors (about $800 each) in an effort not to turn down the COVID patient admissions.
I am sure that most of you have already made your donations elsewhere, but if you are looking to make additional contributions or if you know anyone that’s interested in joining hands with this organization for a noble cause. All the donations go directly to the hospital with no middle layers. You can see the updates on its Facebook page when they are made available.
Any help is a great help !
