I am Dikcha Gupta,a resident of 6th mile Bazar , Darjeeling,
am here to share my story and seek help from everone to raise funds for the treatment of my father Mr Sanjay Kumar Saha.
My father was diagnosed with kidney ailment in the year 2016. Despite the treatments that were given to him in best hospitals the condition of his kidneys didn’t improve and he had a complete kidney failure in August 2017 after which he was put to dialysis. In addition to his kidney failure, he suffered a brain stroke in 2019 which had resulted in the paralysis of the left half of his body. With medical help, support and prayers of many people, now he is able to walk partially with the help of walker.
Having undergone dialysis for 4 years 3 months, his body is now no longer in a condition to support further dialysis. Presently he is 51 years old diabetic, hypertensive and has a chronic kidney disease stage 5D. Therefore, the doctors have recommended to go for a kidney transplant. After investigating his current health profile, the doctors of RN Tagore Hospital, Mukundapur, Kolkata, have given a high chance of success and longer life span of my father if he undergoes transplant. The donor for which is my mother, Mrs. Meera Devi (wife of Sanjay Kumar Saha).
The preliminary process for renal transplant has already been started in the above-mentioned hospital in Kolkata. The doctors have estimated the approximate cost for the same to be 15 lakhs INR. After undergoing a treatment for past five years, we have completely exhausted all our financial resources. Therefore, I seek help from each of you for a financial contribution. I also request everyone to keep my parents in your prayers.
At a very young age, I am risking the lives of both my parents with a hope of giving them a longer life ahead. I need your financial help and support for this. I will be forever be indebted to your generosity and kindness. I request you to kindly donate how much ever you can and help me raise funds for my father’s treatment.
