Sandhya needs your help to undergo her treatment

My name is Ram Bhawan and I am here to fundraise for my daughter Sandhya.

Sandhya  has been diagnosed with relapsed retinoblastoma. The doctors have suggested her to undergo her surgery to fully recover. Which will cost around 2500000.

Please come forward to help me save my daughter. Any contribution will immensely help my family. I need your support to bring my daughter home. Do contribute and share this campaign link with your friends and family.

Dear Supporters,

Thank you for your love and support.

As mentioned in the previous update, we have now got Sandhya back to our hometown in Faizabad. Sandhya's ayurvedic treatment has commenced and she is currently feeling slightly better. We are also in constant touch with the Doctors from Cankids for their guidance. Attached is a recent pic of Sandhya.

Do keep her in your prayers and once again thank you for all the support.

Regards,
Ram Bhawan (Father)

Dear Supporters,

We have some news to share with you all today. Sandhya became quite unwell after her first round of chemotherapy and was shifted to intensive care for a few days.  Her clinical and neurological condition didn't permit further chemotherapy treatment. Subsequently, she was discharged and is currently taking palliative care at a CanKids center. Please find attached a letter from the treating doctor.

They had spent around Rs 45,000 during their chemotherapy treatment, mobilized from acquaintances. We've verified these payments made against the bills and receipts.

At Milaap, we release funds raised only against utilization for the intended purpose, supported by treatment update from the doctor as well as bills and invoices given to us during the fund transfer request. Since the discharge happened before the treatment could continue, no funds have been transferred yet.

We spoke to the father who told us that they are exploring alternative medicine including, Ayurvedic treatment. Ensuring good nutrition for Sandhya during this period as well as transportation arrangements for visits will be the main expenditure going forward.

Given that the family had spent some money during the course of treatment and that there's going to be continued expenditure, all funds available will be transferred to the family (ie father - Ram Bhawan) against a signed letter of undertaking on the proposed use of funds.

We do understand that some of you may like a refund since the original purpose for which the campaign was started was not met. In case you'd like to get a refund, please reply to us by 31st July 2019. 100% of your contribution will be refunded.

In case of a bank transfer made to the account number mentioned in the page, we would request you to share the account details with us by replying to the email or reaching out to team Milaap on feedback@milaap.org.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Sandhya and her family. We hope she makes a sustained recovery.

Regards,
