Our fundraiser is for thousands of rural students who dream big but have limited access to quality STEM education, robotics, innovation labs, and practical learning opportunities. Through Samaritans NGO, Robokalam, and our initiative “Igniting Innovation Yatra to Drive Dreams”, we are working to ensure that no child is left behind simply because of where they were born.
This journey did not begin with funding or a formal setup—it began during our college days with a simple desire to serve. As students, we travelled through the slum communities of Hyderabad, engaging with children who had talent and curiosity but lacked access to proper educational support and opportunities. Those early experiences opened our eyes to the deep educational inequality that exists around us.
From there, our mission expanded to rural Telangana. We travelled across Athmakur and Amarchintha Mandals of Wanaparthy District, where we worked closely with students, schools, and local communities to understand their challenges and aspirations. Later, we continued our journey in Nalgonda and Suryapet districts, traveling village to village, meeting government schools, teachers, students, principals, and education leaders.
Everywhere we went, we saw the same reality—brilliant young minds full of potential, but without access to science labs, robotics kits, computers, innovation spaces, or trained mentors. Through small STEM workshops, robotics awareness sessions, and innovation-based learning activities, we witnessed how quickly students became inspired when given the right exposure.
That experience became our foundation, and from there, the mission grew stronger.
Over time, we collaborated with many schools, education leaders, NGOs, and organizations who believed in the same vision: bringing future-ready education to underserved communities. Through Robokalam, we have been conducting mobile learning workshops and STEM education programs designed to promote experiential learning, robotics, coding, IoT, AI, and hands-on science education. Our mission expanded from awareness sessions to building real access for students who need it the most.
This gave birth to Igniting Innovation Yatra to Drive Dreams—a movement to now cover the entire Warangal region by reaching government schools, rural communities, and underserved students with a fully equipped mobile STEM laboratory. This Lab on Wheels will include robotics kits, science equipment, coding resources, innovation tools, and trained educators who can deliver practical workshops directly at the school doorstep. The initiative is designed to provide universal access to high-quality STEM education and bridge the education gap for rural students .
We need funds urgently to purchase and modify the vehicle, install the mobile lab infrastructure, procure STEM equipment and kits, and support operational expenses for regular school visits. The estimated budget ranges between ₹32.8 lakhs to ₹39 lakhs including vehicle, modifications, lab setup, and educational resources .
