I am Shilpy Das raising funds for my husband Saikat Kumar Das has been diagnosed with life-threatening diseases, end-stage renal failure and needs kidney transplantation immediately. I beg to inform you that, my husband had been working in a small private firm with a meager salary, now he is unemployed for the last 18-months and we have been failing to meet both ends meet with low income. As he has lost his father and doesn’t have enough monitory back up and also not entitled to get any service from any medical insurance company, we are at a loss. I can't manage with such a huge amount hence I am seeking huge financial help from Milaap Foundation and team.
My husband had been diagnosed with kidney failure almost 1.5 years ago. As a treatment, he is undergoing dialysis 3 times a week. Doctors have advised us to perform a kidney transplant immediately. However, low funds and the absence of a donor are delaying it. He is experiencing breathlessness, fatigue, and blood in the mouth and urine. His appetite is also constantly fluctuating. We take him for checkups every 2 months.
His treatment is going on at Ravindranath Institue of Cardiac Sciences and Dr. Roy is examining him. Our financial condition is bad as Saikat has been unemployed for 2 years.
