Help Sai Naresh Gorre Fight Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

Sai Naresh is your average 18-year-old pursuing 12th grade in a college in Hyderabad. His father Mr Jagan is a helper in an NGO operating from Panjagutta, Hyderabad. Nothing in the family looked unusual until when they received the shock of Naresh having diagnosed with blood cancer (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia).

This news has of course shaken Naresh himself and his family. While they have received medical care at the NIMS hospital that is run by the Government where Naresh will undergo Chemotherapy and other supportive care, the reduced cost of treatment, followup, and care is still a big burden for a family whose monthly income is only INR 10,000.

We, therefore, have taken to Milaap to seek the support of the generous community here to help Naresh fight cancer and recover. We request all of you to donate to this cause and help this young and promising man to reclaim his life and be useful to society.

Thanks in advance to everyone who reads, shares and donates to this noble cause.

Sai Naresh was administered a chemo-port in the 2nd week of February and his first Chemo was subsequently conducted at NIMS Hospital in Hyderabad. Post this a series of chemotherapies have been done and the doctor has advised him to rest as well as take good nutrition to ensure he has enough strength to recover.  To aid the same, the family has so far spent in excess of INR 50,000 just on nutrition.

The good news is that Sai Naresh is now on a path to recovery and is doing well courtesy both the chemotherapy as well as the good nutrition he has received. Doctors are monitoring him and we are hopeful that in a few weeks he will be completely free of cancer.

I once again thank everyone for their generous support.
