    Sahil Kashyap

    from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

When every person plans to fly high and build a strong career, young Sahil Kashyap fights a battle for life. You won't be able to control your tears when you come to know a nineteen-year-old Sahil, a boy with a heart of gold – a strong son hiding his pain to bring a smile on his poor parents face, and a deadly disease survivor until now.

Almost five years ago, Sahil had typhoid. His parents consulted the doctor and gave him medicines. He was fine after a while but started getting a fever frequently. He went to school, did work and ignored his health to avoid any botheration to his parents. He loved and cared for his parents so profoundly that he didn't consider his pain.

He knew his parent's financial condition and tried every possible way to hide his pain from them to see a sigh of relief on their face. Every time he had a fever or pain, he just popped a pill and moved ahead to support his old father. When pain turned unbearable and there was no penny at home, he gathered money from neighbours and visited the doctor for tests without bothering his parents.
Sahil's father Narsingh works as a peon in the office and his mother Sujata is a housemaid. His mother runs from one house to another, cleaning and cooking all day for people to feed her child. They struggle each day to feed their family.

His parents are in depression seeing their only child unable to study or do anything in life because of his worsening health condition. They don't have their house or any other assets to rely on. Sahil is their only asset in life. Therefore his parents are seeking medical help to regain their son's health.
Unfortunately, on one unlucky day, he collapsed due to unbearable pain and could not stand on his feet. His parents took him to the doctor and discovered that he was suffering from tuberculosis of the spine. They couldn't believe the doctor's words. It shook their world.

He has been suffering from Pott's spine for the last two years, with multiple abscesses in L4 and L5 and right paraspinal muscles. His parents couldn't believe their boy was going through so much pain. He is facing difficulty in walking and sitting due to his right iliopsoas muscles.

"My child was going through so much pain and, we had no idea. He is the only support system left in our life. We have no one else without him. My 19-year-old son is lying helplessly on the bed and, I am failing as a mother." Sahil's mother, crying over her son's condition.

It's heartbreaking to see Sahil's condition. His spinal cord has developed pus. A tallboy is worst hit by fate, unable to stand straight and continuously struggling with pain in his feet and back. Due to a lack of resources, he could not get proper treatment and started experiencing neurological complications and bone deformity. Any further delay can lead to paralysis, which will leave him bedridden for life. This will paralyse Sahil and his parents as they look up to him.

"My child was very hardworking. He studied and even did part-time work despite so much suffering. He fought a tough battle against pain for a long time alone, but when the deadly disease took complete control of his body, he finally surrendered, and, since that day, he has been lying on a bed. He tries to stand but, his infected spine throw him back. I find it hard to see my child in such a vulnerable condition. The cost of surgery is beyond my capacity. Please help me." Sahil's father requests help to save his son from paralysis.

A powerless father and poor mother knock on every door to save their son from paralysis. The family has no other way to save their son from the attack of paralysis. Please come forward and support their son's treatment.
