Sahayamery is a Srilankan refugee residing in Tamil Nadu. She is suffering from a unique disease called lymphedema which is swollen and rotten leg disorder. Her legs keeps on swelling and the tissues getting infected and rotten. Though several treatments were given there was no remedy for this. Finally AIMS hospital in Ernakulam came forward to treat this unique disease. However the treatment charges comes around 3.5 laks. Sahayamary and her family are in very poor condition and not able to afford this price. Hence the decide to ask for contribution. Only if her leg is treated Sahayamary will survive. She has got 3 years old kid as well
