    This fundraiser will benefit

Sahapur Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Seva Sangha

    from Sahapur, West Bengal

Sahapur Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Seva Sangha organises coaching classes for needy students of nearby villages. These classes are extremely beneficial for the little students, almost all of whom hail from very humble background and are first generation learners. This campaign is to support the students with umbrellas, so that they can easily reach the classes during hot summer and monsoon seasons

This is located in a village in the interiors of West Bengal. During summer the temperature crosses 40 degrees. Soon after summer, monsoon sets in, and this region receives torrential rainfall. Both these conditions make it difficult for students to reach the coaching classes, as most of them have to walk considerable distance from their home to the coaching class. The heat is often too much to withstand and causes students to fall sick as most of them suffer from malnutrition. During monsoons it becomes even more challenging to reach the coaching classes, as not only do they get drenched but their books, copies and bags also get damaged.

These little geniuses already have too many hurdles to cross, their parents also have to wage a steep struggle, all with the hope that they will see the light of education and thereby raise themselves up.

We want to help them in lessening their intense struggle in whatever small degree we can.  We feel an umbrella will go a long way in solving the above problem. Hence we are collecting fund for this purpose through this fund.

There are 400 students and the umbrellas cost Rs. 100 per piece approximately. Therefore the total comes at Rs. 40000 (Rs. 1000 payment gateway fees)
Please consider donating for this cause. This will make it less difficult for the children to access education, who anyways face too many challenges to attend school and the classes.

Thank you
