About S.N Das Campaign:

S.N Das Art and Cultural Trust aims to work for the artisans and students who want to learn art. The sudden outbreak of COVID -19, has caused many rural artisans loss work and hence, they have no means to earn a living, no business, no raw materials and no movement - they have no work and are running back to their hometowns in panic. They are left with no choice but to beg or borrow money from local money lenders to survive through the crisis. Our goal is to support them with basic financial stability.
We want them to survive through the COVID crisis without taking a burden which will last them a lifetime!
The aim of the S.N Das Art and Cultural trust is to raise funds to move ahead with the following plans:
S.N Das Art and Cultural Trust aims to open an International Visual Arts School where we will have artists from around twenty states of India. We are planning to give scholarships to every student so that they are encouraged to pursue Art seriously. To be able to help these students, it is imperative that we have the required funds and infrastructure.
It is our heartfelt request to everyone to spread the news about the opening of our International Visual Art School and the aim with which it is being built, so that we can find generous donors who will further help us in achieving our mission.
Covid also brought along with itself another major crisis for the country – a halt on education! As the pandemic started spreading and the country went into lockdown, educational institutions were shut down to prevent students from getting and spreading infection.
Online classes started for children of private schools in urban areas, but a huge proportion of children living in the urban slums and rural areas of the country remain deprived of education.
Being out of school for months is not just leading to children losing interest in education but also making them more vulnerable to trafficking, child labour, and other forms of exploitation.
An amount as little as Rs.1,000 can bring education back to a child’s life during this Covid pandemic period!
Many talented students are in the need of these scholarships, and it is only with your support that we can uplift them by the means of education and employment.
Our mission also trying to help the faculty and the teachers to become stable and earn a decent livelihood by creating job opportunities.
