As I have done post graduation in Rural Development and acquired thirteen years rich working experience in various livelihood, health and education projects in odisha so I am confident to contribute a positive role in such fields. I am not only very much interested in positive transformation of the society but also I have commitment to do so. The first and foremost duty of an activist is to identify himself/herself with the community so that he/she can be accepted by the community. Once the activist is accepted by the community then a scope arises there to know about themselves and their surrounding, then to understand and realize the issues confronted by that particular community. Then assimilation of data can be possible which can be analyzed in a scientific approach to chalk out the plans. Then skill of proper liaisoning with the stake holders to galvanize the project successfully is only possible.
Odisha has a vast manpower resource. Unless this manpower is provided proper education and skill training they cannot participate in the development process. An integrated development approach to the community in terms of health, sanitation, education, livelihood are required. In this process every members of the community will be aware of their entitlements and rights. They can also be able to generate their livelihood and earn for their family. Once the mindset of the people is changed then a conducive atmosphere will bound to be prevailed towards the growth of the society as a whole.
