About us:

We at “Geeks up” are a team of 5 who strive to create a better world by accelerating the creativity of young minds by inspiring them with real world problems and step by step approach towards solution. Technology may be seen as a driver for both power and legitimacy. The fourth industrial revolution, which is happening right now, is also a revolution of values. What we need today are innovative leaders who not only understand the complexities of technology, but who also innovatively use this technology to promote a global culture of genuine human encounter that meets the legitimate needs of all people. Technology should serve the case of human progress, and we are focused on extending the ladder of opportunity through “Out of box” program to students who are leaders of future.

Our vision:                  
We firmly believe that “changes must start today; not tomorrow” and if the young generation is given an opportunity to learn new technologies and platform to crack the untouched societal problems using technology, a better world can be created.

There are disruptive changes in business models every five years. “However, the curriculum and practices in institutes have not kept pace, rendering them irrelevant. Not all education institutes are making that extra effort to equip the students for modern organizations.”

The skill sets required have also changed. Industries now requires higher levels of leading-edge skills like cloud analytics, robotics, process automation, and so on, and graduates of the day do not always come qualified.

We at Geeks up through “Out of Box” program dedicate our week in giving a level playing field for students from Tier-II & Tier-III towns to explore their acumen and test their boundaries of profession in finding a solution to a real life problem which is connected with the society. In a way we help them to change their thought process and design thinking process which the industry requires.

In short, we bridge the gap between academic and industry requirements to the students of Tier-II & Tier-III towns.

Our Journey so far:

We have mentored 600+ students through “OUT OF BOX” program for the past one year.We started with a single batch in a month. The overwhelming interest from students pushed us to increase three batches a month. We had a successful journey so far. The support from NASSCOM team, Bangalore in providing us the venue for “OUT OF BOX” is priceless.
