Kutuhal Foundation is a Mumbai based NGO working in the fields of education, health and hygiene.
We understand that education is the key solution for the upliftment of the society, hence we have been working on the education element as our KRA.
Apart from operating in Mumbai, we are currently focusing on extending our operations in Rural parts of Maharashtra.
We intend to start our pilot project from Satara's Karad.
Karad taluka is made up of more than 1.18 lakh people, spread in 216 villages, similarly, the current targeted location within Karad, is surrounded by 26 small villages, within a radius of 5 kms circle, and a population of more than 56 thousands, of which more than 5000 are from the students and youth category.

With the accumulated funds, we intend to start a community development center in Saidapur Village of Karad, being located centrally, it is easily accessible to the beneficiary villages neighboring the center.
This Community Development Center (CDC) will offer various free of cost vocational courses to the youth, especially the girls from the central and neighboring villages, for their development and upliftment.
A wide range of courses viz - digital literacy, tailoring, mobile repairing, Spoken English, personality development for carrier interviews, etc have been planned keeping the rural youth in mind.

Spoken English and Personality development are 2 such cases where the youth loose their confidence. Whenever the rural youth think about pursuing higher education from bigger cities, or when they seek for employment opportunities in towns, Spoken English becomes one of the major hurdles in their growth, and hence they unwantedly take a halt in their way to progress. Many of the rural don't even opt for higher education due to the same reason, and hence keeping this in mind, the CDC will provide these youth with not only the above said vocational courses, but also train them for interviews for higher education, competitive exams, and employment opportunities.

Apart from the vocational courses, the CDC will parallelly work on their spoken English and personality development components. Similarly, various Industrial visits, field visits, guest lectures from specialists, have been included in the curriculum.

The CDC intends to train minimum 1000 youth every year in various courses and to also get them employed in the relevant carrier opportunities.

However, like every project requires funds to sustain, we too seek your help in the same way.
To make sure, we provide specialist trainers to the beneficiary youth, and in order to carry out various operations like industrial visits, field visits, guest lectures, and other misc expenses of the center, we too need funds for the same, and hence request you to extend your support. You may donate an amount as low as the quarter piece of a Pizza, i.e. just Rs 100.
Rs. 100 might be really less for you considering a 1 time donation, however, it can be a great help to the beneficiary youth. You too can be a participant in their growth & development with just Rs 100....

P.S. - With the accumulated funds of 30 lakhs, we will start a community center in the village, for which we will take the infrastructure on rent, post that we will purchase the required machinery like 15 computers, 4 projectors, tailoring machines for the girls, components of mobile repairing and auto-mobile repairing for the youth, the stationery required for the documentation, office supplies, etc shall be purchased.

So what are we waiting for ? Let's start the good work.
and please do not forget to share it in your contacts.
