Let a girl child be empowered with proper education.
During 1997, around 40% of the students , especially the girl child were found to be droupouts. Apart from this, the parents of the girl child would discontinue her education as soon as she reaches menarche and she would be married within a year or two. Therefore this program was initiated to stop school dropouts & also to stop early marriage.
Vinayaka Gnyana Vidya Shala ” (VGVS), Mullur is 20 kms from Mysore,being funded by Dr.B.S.Ajaikumar, Chairman of the trust, caters to education needs of 9 villages. There are over 475 students from LKG to Std. X. 80% of the students are poor.

Cost break up is as follows:
Cost breakup for LKG & UKG children: 42 students
1. Uniforms - 2 pairs @ Rs.550 each Rs.1100
2. Shoes - 2 pairs (white & black) @ Rs.200 each Rs.400
Total Rs.1500 for one child.
Cost breakup for VII to SSLC (X) : 53 students
1. Uniforms - 2 pairs @ Rs. 900 each Rs.1800
2. Shoes - 1 pairs @ Rs.450 450
Total Rs.2250 for one child
For all donations, donor will get tax exemption under 80G
1. Uniforms - 2 pairs @ Rs.550 each Rs.1100
2. Shoes - 2 pairs (white & black) @ Rs.200 each Rs.400
Total Rs.1500 for one child.
