I am writing this on behalf of my uncle Mr. Sharad Shankarrao Ranotkar, a farmer who was diagnosed with Tubercular Meningitis in December 2017. In spite of financial problems, he managed to get a treatment for which he had to spend around one and a half lakh rupees. Recently in February 2019, he developed severe knee pain for which he took treatment at Amrawati (M.S.) but in vain as he cannot stand on his two legs. He has lost sensation of both the legs. The doctors have confirmed that he has Tubercular Arachnoiditics. Further, he has lost sensation of urine. He has been suffering from breathing problems since May 2019 and therefore he has been hospitalized in Radient Hospital. The doctors now have found that the bacteria of Tubercular has spread throughout his body and attacked the functioning of his kidneys, liver and lungs. He is now being given artificial O2 for breathing for which the expenditure per day is between three to four thousand rupees. The doctors have advised to keep him hospitalized minimum for a month. Till date, the expenditure has reached an amount of Rs. 3,00,000 to 4,00,000/-, a debt to the family.
While we are in the deepest despair, our economic situation is poor and we cannot afford his medical expenses. So, any help and possible financial support will be highly appreciated. We can provide proof and documentation of our current financial situation and his reports if needed. All my family would be extremely grateful if you would like to give us help in whatever possible way.
Thank you very much for your time, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
