Rupa supports her family by working as a home cook. She is the main earning member and supports her two young kids and husband. While the pandemic took a toll on the financials of the family as they didn't have any work during the lockdown, her current ill-health, has pushed them to the brink.
Rupa has been diagnosed with a cyst in her left ovary with about 3 litres of fluid accumulation. An immediate surgery is recommended by the consulting Surgeon as the cyst might burst anytime but they are unable to do so due to lack of funds. The surgery is being scheduled tentatively in 1st week of February subject to availability of funds.
