I am Dhawal Ahuja and I am here to raise funds for my wife, Ruchika Kapoor, aged 34 years.
Please help us in our endeavour to save Ruchika's life.
Ruchika was diagnosed with Covid-19 on 28th April, 2021 and was admitted to Dr. RML Hospital, Lucknow for a drop in SpO2 levels. Later, she was shifted to Chandan Hospital on 11th May after testing negative for Covid-19 and has been in ICU since then. She also has a history of hypothyroidism, gestational diabetes and hypertention.
Presently she is on ventilator since the night of 26th May, 2021 (on BiPAP before that) due to Post-Covid illness with Viral Pneumonia with ARDS with Type 1 Respiratory Failure.
She is a teacher at City Montessori School, Lucknow and is very dedicated to her job. She has 2.5 year old son waiting for her back home. Her son is the driving force for her will power and is enduring her in this struggle. She has been fighting for her life over the past few weeks and her family really needs her to come back home.
With a daily expenditure of around ₹80,000, we have been able to support her treatment with help from family and friends and have spent approximately ₹18 lakhs, plus approx. 6 lakhs for medicines/ testing at both hospitals (including ₹8 lakhs from insurance).
As per the hospital estimates, approximately around 30 lakh rupees will be required within the next 15 days for her treatment. We need urgent help and support in raising funds for her treatment.
