    This fundraiser will benefit

    Migrant workers

    from Hyderabad, Telangana

This campaign is run by ‘Bharat Dekho’ Team a coalition of young activists from strong development work background, a powerful conscience and a principle of speaking less and doing more. The members of this group our providing an impactful response to the COVID-19 crisis by identifying and supporting those most vulnerable and still unreachable.

The group is working on food, gas supplies, and medical care requests from daily wage workers, migrant labourers, senior citizens, and pregnant women who are stranded in and around the city of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

The group follows a simple yet effective 3 step process:

  1. Need Analysis by way of ground level surveys, open dialogue and field visits in Labour Camps
  2. Provide resources: a) Delivery of ration directly to the beneficiary. b) Transfer money to identified and credible grocery /medical stores thus enabling families to purchase need-based essentials
  3. Document impact

The aim of the fundraiser is to reignite the belief and the 3 principles this group lives by:

  1. Young people must be at the front line of this crisis.
  2. It is only through action that change will come about.
  3. Individuals always have and must continue to pull out fellow individuals from this crisis.
We request you to please put your heart before your wallet. In these unprecedented times, where essentials are scarce, let’s support those whose livelihoods have been disrupted and basics been ripped apart.
