My name is Rohit Pratap. We started a business in Rishikesh Uttarakhand India on a topic of Temple Flower waste management.What actually happen every day we offer huge quantity of flower to our gods in temple but at the end of the day these flower turn into a waste which going to the garbage land or in the gange river which create a huge amount of waste in landside or ganga river. Now what we do we collect these waste flower from different temple and Ganga ghat and converted then into a organic charcoal free handmade incense stick, incense cone and vermi compost with the help of local marginalized women of rishikesh. Currently we have 12 women working with us . Now we want to expand this work in other temples also, for that we need fund for expansion our work. By this way we can short out two problems , first we recycle the waste flower and reduse the load of waste in land side and river ganga and second we empowered the women so that they become bread earner for their family. By the expansion of our work we can employ more women for working and reduse the more quantity of waste in ganga river.
